What this is

A price comparison for dental treatment across 11 European countries, built because every other site in this space makes you fill in a form before it will tell you a number.

Why it exists

If you search for the cost of a dental implant abroad you will find directories, marketplaces and clinic groups. Almost all of them earn money by passing your contact details to a clinic, which means the price has to stay behind the form — a visible price is a visitor who leaves without becoming a lead.

The result is a market where the one thing every patient wants to know is the one thing nobody publishes. We think that is fixable, and that publishing the number is a better business than selling the enquiry.

What we do

We collect published dental fees and aggregate them into ranges. Where a country has a national healthcare registry — the CQC in Britain, RPWDL in Poland, REGCESS in Spain — we start from the full list of registered practices and read each one's own published fee page. That produces a figure grounded in what clinics themselves advertise, not in what they tell a directory about themselves.

Where no such registry exists — Turkey, Albania, Romania and others — we compile editorial estimates from published price lists and say so on every table. The difference is marked with a badge on every row, and it is the whole point of the site. Full methodology →

What we are not

How this is paid for

Display advertising, and in future an affiliate arrangement with clinics that publish transparent fee guides. Two rules govern that: an affiliate relationship will never change a price shown in a table or the order of a ranking, and any page containing an affiliate link will say so on the page.

If we ever break either of those, the site stops being worth reading and we will have destroyed the only thing it has.

Who runs it

A small independent operation, not a clinic group and not owned by one. We also publish national dental price sites for the UK, Polish and Spanish domestic markets — dentalprices.uk, cennikstomatologiczny.com and dentalprecios.com — which is where the registry pipeline behind this site was built.

Getting it wrong

Prices go stale. Clinics change their fees, take pages down, and reprice without telling anyone. Every table on this site carries the date its data was collected so you can judge how much to trust it, and we re-crawl each market quarterly.

If you find a figure that is wrong, telling us is genuinely useful. Corrections →
