Dental crown cost by country

£800 in the UK, £200 in Turkey. The percentage gap is as large as for implants — but a crown is a small enough job that the trip usually costs more than it saves.

Be honest about one crown

A single crown saves roughly £600 in Turkey. Flights and two nights cost £250–£600, and a crown needs two appointments a week or so apart. On one tooth, travelling loses money. It starts to work at three or four units, and clearly works as part of a larger treatment plan.

Metal-ceramic (PFM)Back teeth, budget option£400–£700£90–£160
ZirconiaAnywhere; strong and metal-free£500–£1,200£100–£350

GoldBack teeth, longest-lasting£700–£1,500£250–£500

Zirconia is the current default for most cases: metal-free, strong enough for molars, acceptable aesthetics. E-Max looks better on front teeth but is more brittle under heavy bite load. If a quote just says "crown", ask which material.
